OPENING CEREMONIES
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jerry Shively.
I. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Trustee Jerry Shively moved and Jared Fuhriman seconded the motion to adopt the agenda as written.
Motion passed.
II. WORK SESSION
Enrollment Update –
Guy Wangsgard distributed a summary of the enrollment history of the district from
1989-90 to 2005-06, and discussed the effect this has on the finances of the district. The district continues
to decline in enrollment.
Financial Update -
Guy Wangsgard distributed an updated financial summary, showing increased expenses
and revenue changes. A $1,568,659 million structural deficit is projected for FY 2006.
Revised Policy 408 - Child Nutrition and Wellness
– Trustee Tracie Miller reported that the Wellness
Policy Committee has worked together extremely well. She discussed the draft Policy 408 – Child Nutrition
and Wellness and the positive changes it will bring to the district. Principals will receive the information
and feedback will be provided to the Board.
Tracie Miller moved and Ernest Jensen seconded the motion to move to Executive Session. Motion passed.
Jerry Shively moved and Jared Fuhriman seconded the motion to move to open session. Motion passed.
Ernest Jensen moved and Tracie Miller seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion passed.
