Chairman Burtenshaw called the meeting to order at 12:09 PM.
ADOPT AGENDA
Trustee Lent made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Trustee Warden provided the second. Motion carried 5
ayes 0 nays.
ACTION ITEM
a.Award Bid Regarding Solid State Drive Project
Camille Wood reviewed this project would replace the hard drives in 1,586 district laptops and will make them
perform much faster. Camille stated one of the biggest complaints they hear from teachers and students is that it
takes too long to get the laptops up and running to use during class. The techs have tested the new hard drive
and it works wonders. The following bids were received:

Camille stated the recommendation would be to go with SCW (Southern Computer Warehouse) with the low bid of
$58,894.08.
Trustee Warden made a motion to award the bid for the Solid State Drive Project to Southern Computer Warehouse in the
amount of $58,894.08 as presented. Trustee Zollinger provided the second. A brief discussion was held. Motion carried 5
ayes, 0 nays.
Trustee Haws made a motion to adjourn. Trustee Lent provided the second. No further discussion. Meeting adjourned at
12:11 PM.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the District Office.
