Chairman Burtenshaw called the meeting to order at 12:13 pm.
ADOPT AGENDA
Trustee Haws made a motion to adopt the agenda. Trustee Zollinger provided the second. Motion
carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
DISCUSSION
a.Supplemental Levy Beginning Fiscal Year July 1, 2017 and Ending June 30, 2019
Chairman Burtenshaw led a discussion regarding the timeline and available dates for running the
supplement levy election. Every two years patrons are asked to renew the supplemental levy, currently at
6.8 million dollars each year for two years, which is about 14% of the general fund. The supplemental levy
is a vital part of the districts operating costs. Superintendent Boland and the Board of Trustees discussed
pros and cons for running the levy in November 2016 or waiting until March 2017.

a.Supplemental Levy Resolution
Trustee Zollinger made a motion to table the Supplemental Levy Resolution until a later date. Trustee
Haws provided the second. No further discussion. Motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
Trustee Haws made motion to adjourn. Trustee Zollinger provided the second. Motion carried 5 ayes, 0
nays. The meeting adjourned at 12:48 PM.
