Chairman Burtenshaw called the meeting to order at 5:40 pm.
ADOPT AGENDA
Trustee Haws made a motion to adopt the agenda. Trustee Zollinger provided the second. Motion carried
4 ayes, 0 nays.
DISCUSSION
Superintendent Boland reviewed a slate of questions, gathered from previous trustee interviews and the
Idaho School Board Association. A discussion was held and a final list of questions compiled. Chairman
Burtenshaw asked Supt. Boland to conduct the interviews this evening and board members could ask
questions or provided additional information as needed.
INTERVIEWS FOR ZONE 1 TRUSTEE VACANCY
The following candidates were interviewed to fill the Zone 1 seat being vacated by Bryan Zollinger who is
resigning to serve in the Idaho Legislature. The Zone 1 seat will be up for election again in May so whoever
is appointed will have to run for election if they choose to continue serving on the board.

A discussion was held. Board members were asked to rank the candidates and a consensus was reached.
All of those interviewed tonight were great candidates making it a tough decision stated Trustee Haws.
Chairman Burtenshaw will contact Mr. Wilson to offer the position and then notify the others. The new

trustee is scheduled to be sworn in to office at the regular board meeting on December 14.
ACTION ITEM
a.Appoint Zone 1 Trustee
Trustee Haws made a motion to appoint Larry S. Wilson as the new Zone 1 Trustee of Idaho Falls
School District 91 replacing Trustee Bryan Zollinger. Trustee Zollinger provided the second. No
further discussion. Motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays.
Trustee Zollinger made motion to adjourn. Trustee Haws provided the second. Motion carried 4 ayes, 0
nays. The meeting adjourned at 8:07 PM.
