Vice Chair Wilson called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m. and requested a motion to amend the agenda.
Trustee Hill made a motion to amend the agenda to move Executive Session to Item I. and include Action
Item b. Employee2018-2019 O. Trustee Haws provided the second. Motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays. Trustee
Hill made a motion to adopt the agenda as amended. Trustee Haws provided the second. Motion carried 4
ayes, 0 nays.
Vice Chair Wilson then called for a motion to go into Executive Session. Trustee Hill made a motion to
convene in Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code, Section 74-206 (1) (b) Personnel. Trustee Haws
provided the second. A roll call vote was taken:
Larry Wilson – yes
Larry Haws – yes
Lara Hill – yes
Paul Haacke – yes
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Superintendent Boland and the Board of Trustees met in Executive Session regarding personnel.
Trustee Hill made a motion to return to Open Session at 12:40 PM. Trustee Haacke provided the second.
Motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays.
Vice Chair Wilson called the meeting to order at 12:41 pm.

DISCUSSION
Vice Chair Wilson stated, after a week to deliberate board members were asked to submit their top two
candidates. A discussion was held. Vice Chair Wilson ranked the candidates submitted stating there are
two top candidates. A discussion was held. Chairman Wilson asked board members to submit their top
one candidate, a consensus was reached. Superintendent Boland stated Zone 5 seat will be up for election
again in November 2019, the new trustee will have to run for election if they choose to continue serving
on the board. Superintendent Boland will contact Hillary Radcliffe to offer the position and then notify the
others. The new trustee is scheduled to be sworn into office at the business board meeting on June 12,
2019.
ACTION ITEM
a. Appoint Zone 5 Trustee
Trustee Hill made a motion to appoint Hillary Radcliffe as the new Zone 5 Trustee of Idaho Falls
School District 91 replacing Trustee Deidre Warden. Trustee Wilson provided the second. No
further discussion. Motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays.
b. Employee 2018-2019 O
Trustee Wilson made a motion to establish a date for a hearing for Employee 2018-2019 O to be
held on June 13, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the district office. Trustee Haws provided the second. No
further discussion. Motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays.
Trustee Hill made motion to adjourn. Trustee Haws provided the second. Motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays.
The meeting adjourned at 12:53 PM.
