0 312.0 - School Properties Disposal Procedure
when equipment, books, and materials become worn out, obsolete,
surplus, or otherwise unusable in the schools, the
Superintendent/designee may authorize their disposal in a manner
to the District's best advantage, provided that the unit value of
the item/items is not more than $1-9$0 $500. If values are in
excess of those amounts, formal authorization for negotiated sale,
or for putting the items to bid, will be obtained from the Board.

authorized to dispose of them in some other way that would be
acceptable to good management practices.
