OPENING CEREMONIES
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jerry Shively.
ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Jerry Wixom moved and Jerry Shively seconded the motion to adopt the agenda as written.
Motion passed.
George Boland gave a detailed overview of the programs available for advanced learners. Mr.
Boland also discussed the five year program plan and proposed program options. PACE teachers,
Vicki Krogstrand, and Vicki Chase, and Principal Karla LaGrange were also present and
participated in the discussion, along with Amy Whittier, a parent whose children have
participated in programs for advanced learners.
ISBA Update - Ernest Jensen reported that he had met with the leadership of both houses.
Movement is slow.
Tour of Bush Elementary — the Board moved to Bush Elementary to tour the school and view
remodeled areas.
Jerry Wixom moved and Jerry Shively seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion passed.
