Ray lived in the Pacific Ocean. He swam all day long. He even swam at night. All this swimming made him very strong. One day, Ray thought he should explore. He swam to a new part of the ocean. He had not been there before. He saw a ship sitting on the sand in the deep water. It was tipped over on its side. There were fish swimming in and out of the ship. With each breath, they sent bubbles floating up to the surface. There was seaweed growing near the ship. It was dark green with big leaves. It waved back and forth in the water. Ray decided to go closer. He swam over to the ship. He looked at the seaweed. It looked like it might be good to eat. He took a little bite. Ray decided that the seaweed was too salty. It did not taste very good. He did not want to eat any more of it. Ray watched the other fish. He did not see anyone he knew. He wondered where all these unfamiliar fish had come from. He had never seen them before. Some of the fish were blue and grey like him. But most of them were bright colors. One was a shiny bright green. Another had orange scales and looked almost like the sun. Ray decided that was a beautiful fish. 15 31 45 56 71 86 100 112 125 139 153 168 183 198 210 224 238 250 256 Total Words Read:______ - # of Errors:______ = CWPM:______
