II. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with standardized student assessment(s) preferred
Evidence of strong writing and communication skills.
Evidence of strong organizational and planning skills.
Evidence of critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of electronic database systems with strong spreadsheet and data query/manipulation skills.
Demonstrated skill in organizing and presenting data in meaningful ways.
Evidence of ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Director of Secondary Education
JOB GOALS:
To support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested, and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement.
To coordinate and implement the state and district assessment program including administration and related activities, to provide information to others, and to implement and maintain
student testing and assessment services within established guidelines and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates test administration of standardized tests including but not limited to the Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT), IRI, PSAT, SAT, STAR.
Coordinates delivery of testing accommodations and alternate assessment.
Works with Directors to analyze and interpret and prepare reports and other illustrative materials to guide administrative initiatives to improve instruction.
Works with the Technology Department to ensure the timely reporting of student testing data.
Works in collaboration with the Technology Department to maintain a district-wide assessment data warehouse system.
Complies with testing guidelines and legal requirements established for the administration of various contracted testing programs.
Ensures the security of testing materials, scores, and other data.
Develops resource materials and trains appropriate staff members in use of various assessment systems.
Trains and schedules testing proctors and school staff.
Communicates assessment results with district staff and the Director of Communications and Community Engagement for publication.
Works closely with Technology Department staff to define data requirements along with determining ways to gain efficiencies and process automation.
Stays current with state and federal regulations related to assessment.
Has regular and predictable attendance.
Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.

(Certificated/Non-Certificated) and the qualifications of the individual.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, 190 days per year. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Negotiated Master Contract
for Certificated personnel or in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 8 to 12 for non-certificated personnel.
This is an “at will” position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The “employment
at will” policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this position will be evaluated by the Director of Secondary Education in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
This position has been given an overall physical classification of light duty.
1 – 33% 34 – 66% 67-100%

Medium 40 pounds 20 pounds 10 pounds
Heavy >50 pounds** 40 pounds 20 pounds
**Lifts over 50 pounds with proper body mechanics and 2 or more workers.

This position requires higher level thinking skills in the analysis of data and in the communication of the data in a meaningful way. This position is performed indoors. The majority
of the time is spent sitting at a desk, working on the computer, and answering the telephone. Movement within the office is required to deliver documents and messages and to gather
information as needed. Regular travel to the District schools is required. Mileage will be reimbursed.
