HEALTH HAZARD DATA: Primary routes of entry: INHALATION, SKIN, INGESTION. Hazard Identification: INHALATION: Can cause dizziness, nausea, visual impairment, respiratory failure, muscular incoordination, and narcosis. SKIN: Contact with skin may cause mild skin irritation, defatting, or dermatitis. EYE CONTACT: Exposure to high vapor concentrations or contact with liquid causes redness and irritation. INGESTION: Causes irritation of the gastrointestinal tract, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, and headache. Emergency and First Aid Procedures: INHALATION: Remove person from contaminated area. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Contact a physician. SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and wash with soap and water before reuse. Wash affected area with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Contact a physician immediately. INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a physician immediately. VII. SAFE HANDLING AND USE: Spill Procedures: Eliminate ignition sources. Soak up with noncombustible absorbent material. Remove absorbent material for proper chemical disposal. Waste Disposal: Dispose of all material in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. VIII. SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION: Respiratory Protection: Use with adequate ventilation. Protective Gloves: Disposable where repeated and prolonged contact is expected to occur. Eye Protection: Not necessary under conditions of normal use. Avoid contact with eyes. Ventilation: Local exhaust not required under normal conditions. Room ventilation is generally adequate. IX. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Handling and Storage: Avoid prolonged breathing of vapor. Avoid use in enclosed area where ignition may occur. Store in a cool place. Avoid contact with eyes.
