Chairman Hill called the meeting to order at 12:00 PM.
ADOPT AGENDA
Trustee Radcliffe made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Trustee Wilson provided the second.
Motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
ACTION ITEM
a. High School Plan for Governor’s Orders on Gatherings and Spectators
Superintendent Boland reviewed the revised Governor’s Stage 2 Healthy Order with the board
including limits on spectators at athletic events.
Trustee Wilson made a motion to approve the OSBE resolution and assurance of the new Stage 2
Healthy Order, High School Athletic Plan for Governor’s Orders on Gatherings and Spectators as
presented. Trustee Radcliffe provided the second. No further discussion. Motion carried 5 ayes, 0
nays.
b. Establish a Superintendent Search Publication
The Board of Trustees reviewed two Superintendent Search publication drafts provided by Misty
Swanson, Chief Deputy ISBA and a hand out provided by Carrie Smith, Director of HR & Finance
comparing several Idaho school districts’ current Superintendent salaries.
Trustee Haacke made a motion to set the salary range on the Superintendent Search Publication at
$140,000 - $160,000 annually. Trustee Wilson provided the second. No further discussion. Motion
carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. Discussion included next steps with the Superintendent Search.
Trustee Haacke made a motion to adjourn. Trustee Radcliffe provided the second. Motion carried 5 ayes, 0
nays. Meeting adjourned at 12:31 PM.
