Previous experience and/or training in accounting or bookkeeping. Proficiency in basic clerical skills. Strong computer skills. Able to attend scheduled evening meetings. Ability to work with staff, students, and the public. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO: Director of Community and Foundation Relations JOB GOALS: To support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement as tested with the Idaho Standards Achievement Test. To assist in the administration and record keeping of the Education Foundation so as to provide the maximum services for the financial resources available. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains accurate, concise minutes of all regular meetings of the Education Foundation. Distributes copies of meeting agendas to the Education Foundation Board and District administrators. Prepares documents for each meeting and distributes. Processes routine correspondence. Maintains financial records of all accounts. Balances all accounts monthly. Prepares and mails donation receipts. Obtains and organizes pertinent data as needed. Maintains good public relations with the Education Foundation Board, patrons, and others. Prepares and makes bank deposits as needed. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality in regards to students, parents, staff, and patrons. Has regular and predictable attendance. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position is scheduled for 10 hours per week. It is not eligible for benefits. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 4. This is an “at will” position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The “employment at will” policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91. EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Director of Community & Foundation Relations in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
