QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of document production and coordination systems including processes of review, retention, revision and controlled distribution. Organizational and technical experience necessary to report progress toward achieving the curriculum goals. Ability to plan, anticipate difficulties, and solve problems. Excellent writing and communication skills. Ability to work with staff, students and the public. Supervisory experience. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Curriculum. JOB GOALS: To support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement as tested with the Idaho Standards Achievement Test. To assist administrators with the coordination of testing and provide data to help evaluate and meet curriculum goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates ISAT testing. Generates reports, graphs, and charts from testing data as requested. Hires, trains, and schedules testing proctors. Establishes and maintains a system for updating AMS software and notifying users of updates. Trains appropriate staff members in use of software. Develops training guides for ISAT and AMS. Trains building personnel in scanning end of course assessments (ECAs) and generating reports. Prepares a district level item analysis for each course. Designs, edits, and enters curriculum documents into ABACUS. Establishes and maintains a system for document production, retention, and revision. Prepares status reports. Has regular and predictable attendance. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, 230 days per year. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 14. This is an “at will” position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The “employment at will” policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91. EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated by the Supervisor for Curriculum in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
