Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and the public. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO: Building Principal JOB GOALS: To support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement. To help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible individuals. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Interacts with upper elementary students outside of the regular school day to make him/her aware of choices and consequences as well as advanced opportunities Design and lead an effort to assist students in preparing for post-high school plans Project/program built on specific needs of the school and the students Create presentation schedule TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The exact terms of this position will be determined by the needs of the district and budgetary constraints. Benefits will be in accordance with approved board policy. Salary will be in accordance with the placement on the Teacher’s Salary Schedule commensurate with years of experience and education.
