Ability to follow standardized test directions and operate computerized scoring of the tests. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work with staff, students, and the public. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO: Building Administrator. JOB GOALS: To support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement as tested with the Idaho Standards Achievement Test. To administer individual and group achievement tests to enable the Gifted and Talented Staff to identify those students eligible for services through the Gifted and Talented Program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administers and scores individual and group achievement tests. Follows standardized test directions. Schedules testing with building administrators. Notifies facilitators of testing results in a timely manner. Strives to improve and maintain job skills through training and inservice as directed. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Has regular and predictable attendance. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position is scheduled for a maximum number of hours during the school year. The exact terms will be determined by the needs of the schools and budgetary constraints. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 3. This is an “at will” position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The “employment at will” policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91. EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Building Administrator in accordance with the Board’s policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
