(Required) (3 years preferred) 1-2 Years of Customer Service. (Preferred) Ability to understand and adopt new technology for producing effective and engaging educational materials. Ability to review and provide / accept constructive criticism on all documentation for accuracy, proper grammar, and utility. Ability to prioritize work schedule and projects accordingly. Ability to successfully interact with clients and understand the needs of each unique department / organization. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in various climates and motivate and support colleagues and team members. Ability to function as part of a goal-oriented team. Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize workload accordingly. Superb documentation, writing, and verbal skills. COMPTIA A+ certification recommended, but not required. Basic network knowledge. (routers, switches, TCP/IP, etc.) Database administration experience recommended, but not required. Extensive knowledge of computers and various programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Chrome & other popular programs. Ability to effectively and efficiently research hardware/computer issues. Experience with active directory and other related RSAT tools. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO: Enterprise Systems Co-Ordinator. JOB GOALS: To support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot basic to complex software and hardware issues to maintain functionality of enterprise applications as needed. Occasional installation of Windows operating systems and software applications needed for various enterprise clients as needed. Provide remote and onsite support for the district’s enterprise applications. Help maintain enterprise application’s user accounts and resolve various user account issues as needed.  Facilitating issue escalation for more complex problems. Resolve device problems and complaints in a timely manner for those devices that are directly correlated to the enterprise applications that our department supports. Inventory all hardware assets within the district’s inventory system used specifically for applications our department supports (Child Nutrition Dept etc). Conduct Web-based / remote and onsite training of enterprise applications used by the district as needed. Develop custom enterprise applications training courses / materials using available resources for staff as needed throughout the district. Gather feedback on training courses / materials and use this information to continually improve training content. Ensure to include enterprise application developer’s best practices into the development and delivery of training to establish software compliance and specific regulatory compliance & industry standards. Develop educational tools for the introduction of new modules/functionality for repeated use by various internal departments, and users. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Has regular and predictable attendance OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The exact terms will be determined by the District and budgetary constraints. This is currently a full-time position scheduled for 8 hours per day, 244 days per year. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 8 or 9 depending upon experience. This is an “at will” position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The “employment at will” policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91. EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Enterprise Systems Coordinator in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on the evaluation of classified personnel. This position has been given an overall physical classification of medium duty. 1 – 33% 34 – 66% 67-100% Light 20 pounds 10 pounds < 1 pound Medium 40 pounds 20 pounds 10 pounds Heavy >50 pounds** 40 pounds 20 pounds **Lifts over 50 pounds with proper body mechanics and 2 or more workers.
