Ability to work with staff, students, and the public. Training and experience in clerical procedures and skills. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in computer software applications. Ability to work independently with minimum direction to meet deadlines. Ability to attend scheduled luncheon and evening meetings. Above average verbal and written communication skills. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may findappropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO:  Career & Technical Education Coordinator JOB GOALS: To support the delivery of the Idaho Division of Career & Technical Education's written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement. To provide Career and Technical Education high school students with work-based learning experiences that will lead them to make wise and satisfying occupational and career choices. To help educate the public regarding programs available to students through the Career and Technical Education Center. To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office to maximum the positive impact on students and to assist in the administration of the Career & Technical Education Programs and financial affairs for the Eastern Idaho Cooperative Service Agency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for helping to maintain the safety of students and staff during the school day. Maintains financial and transportation records for the Eastern Idaho Cooperative Service Agency. Places and receives telephone calls cordially and accurately records messages. Maintains student records for the Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) high school and obtains, compiles, and organizes pertinent data for other reports to the Idaho Division of Career Technical Education. Processes incoming and outgoing correspondence as instructed.  Uses e-mail when applicable. Coordinates, schedules, or attends advisory committee meetings and provides documentation to the CTE Coordinator and teachers as necessary to facilitate meetings. Tracks advisory committee meetings and maintains accurate, concise mailing lists, agendas, and minutes for all Career & Technical Education advisory committees. Prepares student attendance reports for the Idaho Division of Career &Technical Education. Maintains a regular filing system. Assists with career & technical inventory reports. Distributes materials to Eastern Idaho Cooperative Service Agency program staff. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information. Has regular and predictable attendance. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a full-time position schedule for 6 hours per day, 177 days per year.  Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy.  Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary as a Grade 5.     This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.  The "employment at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91. EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Career & Technical Coordinator in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
